Loren Comstock has been an Executive Leadership Coach and Consultant for 17 years. Prior to that, she spent 20 years in Fortune 500 technology companies leading sales organizations, and building client facing teams aligned with their clients’ strategic priorities. From this experience, she has gained an understanding of the critical issues facing leaders. A coaching focus has been to help executives in transition successfully operate at higher levels of responsibility by linking critical business priorities to leadership goals. Working with senior executives on management consulting initiatives, concentration has been on strengthening leadership capabilities while achieving tangible business results. Her clients encompass a cross section of industries, including financial service companies, communication firms, non profits, and hospitality firms.
In her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Comstock co-led ROLM’s Process Team for Sales Strategy and Performance, to create methods to align and partner with clients at the highest levels of decision making. At IBM, she developed cross-compensation plans, new organizational structures, and joint client account strategies as a member of the integration team between the two newly merged firms, IBM and ROLM. Her consulting work has concentrated on strategic initiatives around sales, technology and management, and has included competitive analysis and developing profitable sales and marketing strategies, client satisfaction, organizational assessment and redesign, and business process reengineering.
A significant part of her coaching work has been working with executives in transition to achieve alignment with key strategic initiatives, and working with executives under duress and those with personal styles that can be derailing. She enjoys working with client facing executives and their teams to create high performance environments aligned on vision and execution strategies to deliver increased value to client relationships. Built into each assignment is a focus on higher performance levels and creating clarity and flexibility to embrace change.
